Many, many people asked me how you had known Dad, they were sure you were someone who knew him, by the way you conducted the service. I could tell that this is something you are called to do. I feel so glad that we were able to work together on this, and that it turned out so beautifully. The time he took with us getting to "know" Derek made it seem like he had actual known him; not just "meeting" him through our memories. I would like to thank you for the special service you gave my mother Carol in February. I felt your compassion and while it was one of the worst days of my life, it was a memorable day. Everything was done with class, just as she was. Family and friends have been telling my dad what a nice service it was. Another said they'd been to quite a few funerals and never seen anthing like this one. Through the tears, everyone was smiling. What a tribute to her. The words you spoke brought such life to the pictures. I shall never forget that day. It is such an honor to meet you and experience your wonderful talents.
